At the airport, the tone was set. Terminals 1 & 3 dedicated to international arrivals were revamped in Vallourec's colors, with nearly 50 billboards, placed in the arrival area and after the immigration zone, inviting visitors to go to the Group’s booth to discover its innovations, new products and digital solutions.

Our booth at ADIPEC

At the heart of Hall 3, on our50m2 booth, teams from the Middle East region, supported by those from D&I, welcomed many customers and visitors during 4 days. In total, more than a hundred contacts with customers and prospects have been established by Vallourec's sales teams.

The booth was divided into 3 main areas: digital solutions, innovation and tubular products.

This tradeshow was also an opportunity for Vallourec to highlight the growing importance of the MEA region within the Group.

The teams on site, accompanied by Edouard Guinotte (Senior Vice President Middle East Asia), Didier Hornet (Senior Vice President Development & Innovation), Bertrand de Rotalier (Executive Vice President Middle East), Frédéric Morel (Commercial Vice President Middle East) and Yvan Rivaux (Head of Digital Business Vallourec.smart and Smartengo), received large delegations of customers. Among them, senior executives from ADNOC and its subsidiaries Onshore and Offshore with whom the Group has recently signed a very attractive framework contract worth more than M€ 900 over a 5-year period. These visits were an opportunity to give detailed presentations of the Smartengo Inventory solution, an essential element for yard management in the context of the contract awarded. Other VIP visitors also came to discover the booth and meet Vallourec's teams, including Baker Hughes, Total, Al Qahtani and ENI, to name but a few.

Very positive feedback

Customers and prospects were enthusiastic about Smartengo’s digital solutions such as Running Expert, Inventory, Best Fit or ValGuard and all acknowledged that these solutions are meeting several of their operational challenges. Demonstration hubs specially designed for each solution allowed everyone to discover in detail how they work.

Our innovations also made the buzz with very good comments on the different solutions presented, such as the brand new integrated cable clamp system, intelligent pipes and our two additive manufacturing technologies (augmented pipes and 3D printing). The presentation of real samples produced thanks to these innovative technologies confirmed the full potential of these innovations.

Efficiency

We are very pleased to have had this opportunity to demonstrate to our customers and prospects our ability to provide global solutions, combining traditional products and value-added services that enhance the efficiency of their operations while allowing them to optimize their TCO.
