API Specification Q2 confirms VAM USA has robust procedures to ensure safety, quality, employee competency, operational efficiency, and to maintain customer satisfaction among other key quality management system elements.
On August 21, 2019, VAM USA earned API Specification Q2 which is a Quality Management System that demonstrates service conformance to API requirements and standards. Vallourec and VAM® facilities are API Q1 certified which focuses on manufacturing processes, whereas API Q2 focuses on the consistency and reliability of service providers.
The certification effort was led by the VAM® Field Service team headquartered in Houston who dedicated time and effort to meet the rigorous standards of API Q2. This achievement confirms that VAM USA has robust procedures in place to ensure safety, quality, employee competency, operational efficiency, and to maintain customer satisfaction among other key quality management system elements.
Achieving API Q2 is an important milestone for VAM® Field Service in the US that helps differentiate VAM® in a highly competitive market and ensures our commitment to safety and quality.
