Vallourec and Açotubo Group join forces in Brazil to launch “Vallourec Tubos para Indústria”
Specialized in tubes and tubular solutions for industry, more specifically for the automotive, energy, machinery and industrial equipment segments, Vallourec Tubos para Indústria” (VTI) is the result of the collaboration between Vallourec’s Drawn and Profiled Tubes Unit and the Açotubo Group‘s Cold Drawn Tubes Division.
The joint venture will focus on the domestic market, but exports are also part of the plan. “Export is in Vallourec’s DNA and, considering that Brazil will be the first place in the world where we operate with the products made available by VTI, this opens up possibilities abroad as well”, says Rodrigo Renno.
With VTI, customers will benefit from optimized management and operations, which will directly improve agility and flexibility.
