Quality, Health and Environment: Vallourec Reinvents Its Safety Week with SIPAT+
At the end of September, Vallourec South America held a new edition of its traditional Internal Accident Prevention Week. But this year, the event took on a whole new dimension with the launch of SIPAT+: an enhanced version that, beyond safety and the 12 Life-Saving Rules, also embraces key themes such as quality, health, well-being, and environmental awareness.
The event took place across all Vallourec South America units, supported by a rich program of lectures and activities. This edition was made possible thanks to an unprecedented collaboration between several departments.
Topics covered included the 12 Life-Saving Rules, harassment prevention, and chemical dependency, as well as the support programs offered by the Vallourec Foundation and the Coovall cooperative. To mark Arbor Day, the Barreiro and Jeceaba units continued the tradition of distributing seedlings.
A Safety Culture Worth Celebrating
Beyond the content, it was the atmosphere that stood out: a strong sense of celebration and engagement, reflecting a deeply rooted safety culture in the Group’s practices and values.
