At the Fundação Vallourec, volunteering has a name: Mãos de Valor Program (Hands of Value Program). For 23 years, it has been bringing together initiatives that promote citizenship, solidarity, and positive impact in the communities where we operate.
Learn about the projects that are part of this support network:
- Tax-Deductible Donations: more than R$ 3.6 million ((≈ 679 000 €) allocated to the Fund for Children and Adolescents since 2005.
- Donation Campaign: over 40,000 items collected and delivered since 2006.
- Christmas Volunteers: more than 10,000 children receive gifts with lots of love.
- Sewing Volunteers: handmade items to warm and embrace.

When it comes to volunteering, our team puts on a show of collaboration!

At the Barreiro unit, 90 volunteers revitalized the Pequeno Príncipe Children’s and Educational Center, directly benefiting 125 children from Vila da Barraginha. At VTS Rio das Ostras (RJ), improvements were made to the Municipal Shelter with the help of 22 volunteers. And at VTS Serra (ES), 29 volunteers revitalized the São José Calasanz Social Center.
