Employee advocacyIn 2019, we have crossed a new line in the development of our digital approach, by implementing employee advocacy: a program destined to make our coworkers create a social media account, showcase their expertise and become the ambassadors of their Group. Managers and employees were ready to participate and talk in the Group’s name!
Social networks have created more proximity with potential candidates who are interested in our offers and have favored a more direct and human exchange. LinkedIn in particular has allowed me to build breeding ground for talent, while Twitter allows me to talk to my peers from human resources or the oil and gas world, and stay informed on what happens elsewhere in HR or in industry in general.Samantha Lachaize Recruitment Manager

Why an Instagram launch?
Instagram is a social network destined to shared pictures and videos. It’s an excellent way to strengthen the visual impact of the broadcast information: it has been proved that the human brain remembers 20% of what it reads, and 80% of what it sees in a picture (source: codeur.com - in French). Launching a new social media account allows us to reach a younger audience in particular: indeed, 41% of all Instagram users are under 24 years old!
We are proud to show on our account the most beautiful photos of our products, plants and coworkers, and to feature the countries in which the Group is present. These pictures display another face of Vallourec and its activities.
