Des héros du quotidien : la sécurité à l’honneur pour la Fête des Pères au Brésil
“My hero doesn’t wear a cape, he wears his PPE!”
On the second Sunday of August, Brazil celebrates Father’s Day, a day to honor father figures and recognize their role in shaping our stories, values, and emotional connections. Even though the date varies from country to country, it remains a meaningful opportunity to share a glimpse of Brazilian culture and reinforce the bonds that unite us at Vallourec.
This year, Vallourec South America chose to link Father’s Day campaign with the theme of Safety. The celebration took place on August 10th, coinciding with a period when the Group is focusing on promoting his Life-Saving Rule #2: PPE – Personal Protective Equipment.
The campaign’s motto, “My hero doesn’t wear a cape, he wears his PPE!”, puts Vallourec dads in the spotlight, reminding them of their role as everyday heroes in their children’s lives, and of the importance of returning home safely. Through this initiative, Vallourec celebrates those who lead by example, both at home and at work, and highlight that a father who protects himself is also protecting what matters most: his family.
