Les projets g\u00e9othermiques \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature sont particuli\u00e8rement prometteurs car ils permettent d&rsquo;augmenter consid\u00e9rablement la production d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie par puits, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction du co\u00fbt moyen de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie (LCOE). Cependant, l&rsquo;exploitation dans ces environnements extr\u00eames pr\u00e9sente des d\u00e9fis importants, exigeant que les mat\u00e9riaux et les technologies soient rigoureusement valid\u00e9s pour de telles conditions afin de garantir l&rsquo;int\u00e9grit\u00e9 des puits sur le long terme. Vallourec est fier d&rsquo;\u00eatre \u00e0 la pointe des avanc\u00e9es dans ce domaine, en repoussant les limites de ce qui est possible pour l&rsquo;exploitation des puits g\u00e9othermiques.<\/p><p><br \/>Le 3 d\u00e9cembre dernier, Vallourec a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 son papier technique, intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u202fUne nouvelle approche de la caract\u00e9risation des mat\u00e9riaux afin de pr\u00e9dire le comportement des cuvelages pour les applications g\u00e9othermiques \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature\u202f\u00bb (en anglais\u202f: <em>A New Approach for Material Characterization to Predict Casing Behavior for High-Temperature Geothermal Applications<\/em>), lors du symposium SPE Thermal Well Integrity and Production consacr\u00e9 aux applications pouvant aller jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 500\u00b0C. Ces r\u00e9sultats s&rsquo;appuient sur les technologies existantes de Vallourec valid\u00e9es pour des temp\u00e9ratures allant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 350\u00b0C et repr\u00e9sentent une \u00e9tape importante pour permettre d\u2019op\u00e9rer \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures encore plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/p><p><br \/>En utilisant des techniques avanc\u00e9es de test et de simulation, Vallourec a caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 le comportement des grades d&rsquo;acier au carbone tels que le L80 dans ces conditions extr\u00eames.
