History

Creation of VAM Premium Connections (VAM PC) engaged in the threading of VAM® connections for the Canadian market, with a threading facility located in Sault St Marie Ontario. Opened Calgary Sales office for VAM PC.

1983

Vallourec Tubes Canada is opened in Montreal, Quebec as seamless pipe sales entity for Canada.

1991

Vallourec Tubes Canada moves the import sales office to Burlington Ontario.

1994

VAM PC relocates its threading plant from Sault St Marie to Nisku Alberta.

1998

VAM PC rebranded as VAM Canada.

2006

Vallourec acquires assets of Grant Prideco and the Newfoundland facility is integrated in the VAM Canada Threading operations.

2008

A new office is opened in Calgary and the OCTG Pipe and Threading sales teams are combined.

2012

Merger of Vallourec Tubes Canada Inc. and VAM Canada. The entity is renamed Vallourec Canada Inc.
