The high-tech products designed and developed by Vallourec’s Oil and Gas Divisions meet the reliability requirements of even the most demanding customers, and are suited to the harsh operating conditions of the oil industry and gas wells from oil well to refinery. They include drill pipe, plain-end or threaded seamless tubes for casing or oil and gas production tubing, standard or premium joints (with the VAM® product line) for a variety of applications, line pipe, fittings and accessories. Product grades are engineered to withstand specific, sometimes extreme operating conditions (corrosion, temperature, pressure).

These products are used in major oil field development projects such as Amenam, Bonga (Nigeria); Kizomba, Xikomba (Angola); Tunu, Unocal West Seno (Indonesia); Elgin Franklin (British North Sea); Holstein, Mad Dong (Gulf of Mexico); Astrakhan, Temam Pechora, Surgut (Russia); Tarim, Kelamayi, Sichuan (China) as well as framework agreements with Total, Petrobras and Shell Europe.
