Vallourec is building a new state of the art seamless pipe mill in Youngstown, Ohio to meet the growing demand for small diameter OCTG tubes resulting from the boom in horizontal drilling.

The new plant will be capable of producing up to 500,000 metric tons of seamless pipe from 2 3/8” to 7” with the premium product offering and quality standards that have made the reputation of Vallourec worldwide.

Strategically located in the heart of the Marcellus and Utica shale plays, this state of the art rolling mill will provide our customers with a highly competitive and reliable domestic solution. It will also offer multiple threading options, storage and field support to better service our customers. Expect Vallourec's operations in Youngstown to become the new OCTG Global Solution Center in North America.
