VM 22 65 is a Corrosion Resistant Alloy. It is iron based plus main alloying elements Cr, Ni and Mo. The PRE is above 35. Structure is Duplex (austenite and ferrite). VM 22 65 is delivered in solution annealed conditions.

​APPLICATIONS

VM 22 65 is recommended when pCO2 is above 2psi / 0.14bar with chlorine. Acceptable temperature is up to 450°F / 232°C. Some partial pressure of H2S is acceptable depending on temperature of use.

VM 22 65 can be used as tubing or casing.

​PERFORMANCES

The VM 22 65 does not present any anisotropy. It has been tested from room to high temperature for SCC and SSC with different levels of H2S.​
