VM 825 120 is an austenitic Corrosion Resistant Alloy. The main alloying elements are 42%Ni, 21%Cr and 3.5%Mo. VM 825 120 is delivered in cold work condition. It can be hardened by drawing or pilgering.

​APPLICATIONS

VM 825 120 is recommended when pCO2 is above 2psi / 0.14bar, high temperature up to 450°F / 232°C and presence of chlorine. It resists to H2S partial pressure of more than 500psi – 34bar. Partial pressure H2S acceptable is governed by temperature.

VM 825 120 can be used as tubing or casing.

​PERFORMANCES

VM 825 120 has been tested from room to high temperature for SCC with different levels of H2S.​

STORAGE ​& HANDLING RECOMMENDATION

Avoid pollution by contact from carbon or low alloy steel (pipes or parts).

Avoid atmospheric pollution with iron (e.g. concrete plant).
