Spirafort


 

Excellent Machinability Meets High Strength

Used exclusively in our proprietary range of MECAPLUS hollow bars, Spirafort® grades allow high-speed machining yet low tool wear. Compared to ordinary standard E470 grade steel, Spirafort® machines up to twice as fast with the additional benefit of short chips.

 

Applications

The properties of Spirafort® grades make them the ideal feedstock for all kinds of turned engineering parts. They are used exclusively for our seamless range of MECAPLUS hollow bar, which allows the selection of near-net shape starting material for reduced material and machining costs.

Spirafort® grades are marketed exclusively for Valloure's range of MECAPLUS hollow bars. They comply with and even significantly exceed the requirements of EN 10294.
