Laurence Pernot appointed Vice-President Communications of Vallourec.

Boulogne-Billancourt, 25 June 2013 – Vallourec, leader in premium tubular solutions, announces the appointment of Laurence Pernot as Vice-President of Group Communications.

Laurence Pernot was Deputy Senior Executive Vice-President of Communications of the AREVA group since September 2012. She joined AREVA in 2001 as Vice President of Communications for the La Hague Treatment and Recycling facilities. In 2006, she was appointed Vice-President of Communications for AREVA Inc. Based in Bethesda, Maryland, she had overall communication management responsibility for AREVA North America.

Before joining AREVA, Laurence Pernot served as Communications Vice-President for the Loire Atlantique region of western France.

Laurence Pernot, 50 years old, graduated from the Sorbonne University (La Sorbonne) in History and American Anthropology.

She will take up her position on 1st September 2013, reporting to Philippe Crouzet, Chairman of the Management Board.
